Where do the shoots take place?

That entirely depends on what you are looking for.

If you are just looking for headshots, the photo shoot will happen just off the Harbourside in the centre of Bristol. We will meet at the doors of MShed.

However if you are looking for a more styled shoot then the location will be decided based on the type of look you are going for. We will likely move around a bit and try different areas.

I prefer to shoot outside as I feel natural light creates the most honest photo.

How long are the photo shoots?

This varies depending on how much content you are looking for. If you have multiple hair styles, outfits, or want to shave of your facial hair this will obviously have an effect on the time scale.

However, most shoots usually last around 1.5 - 2 hours.

What do I wear for headshots?

Ultimately this is down to you. However, what you wear can sometimes effect the photo. For example, if you are wearing a strapless top you could look naked.

For headshots, I suggest something plain and neutral that complements your skin tone. Natural earthy colours tend to work well with all skin tones and hair colours.

I'd advise avoiding anything white, patterned or very bright colours (neon) as these can change the lighting in the frame and take the attention away from your face. We want your eyes to be the main focus here. You may also find that how you dress will influence how casting directors see you, so keep that in mind when choosing your outfit.

If you are going for a specific look then of course, wear whatever you think works best.

How do I prep?

A few things you can do to prepare for your shoot are:

 - Drink plenty of water in the week leading up. You will notice the difference.

 - Get a good night's sleep the night before.

 - Don't drink the night before. It will dehydrate you and will effect your skin and eyes.

 - Don't use any new skin products in the days leading up. They could cause your skin to react or flare up.

 - Use lip balm and moisturiser regularly in the week leading up.

How long will it take to receive the images?
